Scope and Contents
The series comprises all other records created by the New York State Conservation Council, from the years 1937 to 1989. It includes founding documents, reports, resolutions, releases, correspondence, speeches, recommendations, minutes of the forest preserve committee, policies, bulletins and other records. The materials are arranged alphabetically by document size, with legal sized records grouped together in one box. Correspondents include Paul Shaefer and Herman Forster. Some reports include supplemental black and white photographs taken by Paul Schaefer.
