 Collection — Multiple Containers
Identifier: SCA-0426

Content Description

The Carl J. George collection includes research files, writings, correspondence, slides, photographs, artifacts, and ephemera related to the Nott Memorial, biology, Union College history, the American University in Beirut, and other topics. Figure 8 report gathers data on a part of the Town of Florida, Montgomery County, toward establishing a baseline against the impacts of global climate change and suburbanization on regional agriculture. Extensive research into the Nott Memorial culminated in the writing of two manuscripts as well as the successful application to have the building listed as a National Historic Landmark. The research into the building's history helped during its renovation for the College's bicentennial celebration in 1995 as evidenced in collection files, architectural plans and letters.
