Historical Note
The AIDS Committee, chaired by Professor Twitty Styles, held annual conferences to educate members of the Union community about the causes, symptoms, transmission, prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in an era of misunderstanding about the virus. The committee also invited members of the Capital Region and beyond to the events to answer questions and promote AIDS awareness.
